I think as a society we should all start discussing this first of all. If a girl comes and tells you someone misbehaved with her, she would definitely expect you to listen to it. It will be helpful if you can listen to her, discuss and come up with things she could have done better based on the situation. It will definitely help her manage such situations better next time.

If there are kids in your surrounding, please educate them on what all this is and how to handle when such things happen to them.

You may happen to be in groups where people pass really lewd comments on a girl; could be just a conversation amongst friends. Ask them to stop. It is not okay to look at any woman in a way it makes her uncomfortable and hurt or pass lewd comments.

There are so many little things like this that we can do in our everyday life. If you rethink your life experiences, I’m sure you can come up with a lot more things that you can do.

Ignoring is easier and we should stop choosing to ignore.
